Anti Hold Up Unit -
It is widely accepted that the majority of robberies take 90 seconds to complete.
By restricting the robbery to the contents of the till it not only reduces the loss but deters future attacks....This is accomplished with the Anti Hold Up Unit. This is a safe with a slot for depositing cash, an electronic lock with several million possible combinations and a time delay feature programmable from 0-99 minutes.
Cash is skimmed from the tills regularly throughout the day and deposited in the unit via the slot - which means that staff never need to have access to the contents of the safe. In the event of a raid the staff can co-operate with the raider and key in the code (if they have access to it), however the safe will only open once the programmed time has lapsed – normally 10-15 minutes and the code is entered again. Raiders will not normally wait this long and will leave with the contents of the tills only, which should be minimal if they have been regularly skimmed. This unit also has on overnight insurance cash rating of a minimum of €2,000 at the discretion of your insurers.
